How does the subscription work? +
Pick your box size (Family, Couple, Custom, or Trial), choose monthly or bi-weekly delivery, and set your preferences. We'll curate your box based on what's available from our farms that week. You can adjust, pause, or cancel anytime — no contracts, no commitments.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no hassle. You can pause, skip a delivery, or cancel entirely from your account dashboard. We want you here because the food is worth it, not because of fine print.
How do the QR codes work? +
Every product in your box has a unique QR code printed on the label. Open your phone's camera, point it at the code, and it'll take you to a TracedTable page showing the farm, farmer, animal history, feed details, processing date, and distance traveled. It works on any smartphone — no app needed.
What's in a typical box? +
It depends on the season and what our farmers have available — that's the beauty of it. A Family Box typically includes a mix of beef cuts, pork, chicken, and seasonal produce. You'll always know what's coming before it ships, and you can swap items or flag preferences (no pork, extra chicken, etc.).
How is pricing determined? +
Pricing is based on your box size and delivery frequency. Because we source directly from farmers — cutting out distributors and retail markups — you get premium, traceable food at a price that's competitive with what you'd pay at a good butcher shop. What about food allergies or dietary preferences? +
When you set up your subscription, you can flag allergies and preferences. No pork? Done. Extra beef? Easy. We'll build your box around what works for your household. For specific allergy concerns (like cross-contamination at processing facilities), reach out to us directly and we'll get you the details from our farmers.
How do you keep the food fresh during delivery? +
Every box is packed with insulated liners and gel ice packs rated to keep food at safe temperatures for 24+ hours. Frozen items stay frozen. Fresh items stay cold. If anything ever arrives outside of safe temperature range, we'll replace it — no questions asked.
